The Dragon Boat Festival is a very exciting day for the people of China, Taiwan, Korea, Vietnam, and don't forget - the people of PCS! To begin the Dragon Boat Festival we started off with Chinese Drumming - it was awesome! Next we watched a video and then it was time for another performance by the Bell Dancers. What an amazing performance that was! It was followed by the Stick Dance and the Fan Dance. Then the winners for the best coloured-in Dragon Boat picture form the Junior Primary school were announced. They received a prize in a shape of a rooster lantern, and the Grade 4-11's winners for the Dragon Boat Art competition received tuck-shop vouchers. After that we had traditional rice dumplings, and then we had to go back to class, but I really enjoyed it!
