INTERVIEW: MRS SURGEON
Q: Do you enjoy teaching Music?
A: Yes very much. I used to sing when I was very young and
I always used to sleep with a radio under my pillow so music’s always been a
part of my life.
Q: What made you want to become a teacher?
A: At first I wanted to become a performer and one day I
decided to do something different. My mom told me I was born to teach.
Q: How long do you think you’re going to teach at PCS?
A: For as long as I can.
Q: What high school did you go to?
A: Hoƫrskool Randburg in
Johannesburg.
Q: What sport did you do and do you still play it?
A: Netball and no not anymore. I
also used to swim and I still do.
Q: Who is your role model and why?
A: My dad because he taught me
the ways that Jesus wants us to live, he also taught me how a man is supposed
to love a woman.
Q: What do you like/love about PCS?
A: I love the fact that they
treat us like professional teachers, and that they let me bring my babies. As a
mommy that is very important to me.
Q: Have you always wanted to be a teacher?
A: Yes, I have.

: What made/inspired you to become a maths teacher ?
A:
Maths is a language on its own and even if you can’t speak English, you can
still communicate.
Q: Have you ever taught at different
school besides PCS? If you have, what school was it?
A: Yes. I taught Irene Primary
School.
Q:
Who is your favourite celebrity?
A: Johnny Depp because he is a brilliant
actor.
Q: What high school did you go to?
A: Sutherland High School
Q: If you had to choose a different
subject to teach which one would you choose between MUSIC and NS?
A: I guess I would choose Music.
Q:
What is your favourite colour?
A: Blue / Baby Blue
