Ways to annoy your older/younger siblings

  • By Caitlyn Miller

Siblings can be very annoying, I should know I have an older brother who loves to annoy me.
Here are some tips on how to get back at your siblings!

1.       Ignore them when they talk to you. People hate being ignored so this will definitely annoy them.
2.       Follow them around and copy what they say in a squeaky high pitched voice.
3.       Steal their food during dinner when they are not looking.
4.       Bother them when they have friends over
5.       Start randomly singing in there room while they are trying to sleep
6.       Hide in there room and then jump out and scare them. Just be careful some older brothers might punch you in the face by reflex

While using these ideas try not to get in trouble

Toastmaster's Course - by Caitlyn Miller

In the First Term of this year, every Monday night for 8 weeks some of our GR7 students attended the toastmasters course.

We were taught how to do speeches in public without getting scared.
We had 4 main toastmasters who taught us a lot of interesting things and we had 2 of our English teachers there with us.

On the toastmasters gala evening everyone did a speech some of us did prepared and some of us did unprepared speech. I did an unprepared speech about school.

In the unprepared speeches I came second and Mahima came first.

In prepared Tswelopele came second and John-Alexander came first.

There was also a award for toastmaster of excellence which was awarded to...
ME!

We all got certificates for attendance.
We all worked very hard and had a lot of fun.
It was such a great opportunity to attend the toastmasters course!

To all the grade 6’s of PCS: "You should all attend the toastmasters course next year!"

The Night by Eric Olivier

The night is black, beautiful
The night is shining, white and yellow
It has no meaning
It does not need
The night is dark, mysterious
It’s cold and warm
Casting a spell
A spell of beauty
Beauty over the land
Every time I reach my hand
Trying to grab, pull and have
Though I cannot for I’m tied to the land
Never having but loving
That’s the night
It can’t be captured
Always in sight
The night is sleek, dark
But beautiful all the same
