"The Guardians" Chapter 7, by Nina Olivier, Gemma Penning, Andrea White

“What?” I asked, being confused for the thousandth time today “This is from my… Mom?”

“Show her to her room,” Eleanor said “Let her read there.”

The two guards started guiding me through the palace. After a few corridors, and A LOT of stairs the guards stopped at a blood red door. They opened it, revealing a fire themed room. There was a four poster bed with rocks and lava all around the place. There was a dresser, a desk and a door leading to a balcony with an amazing view. It was like three times the size of my bedroom at home, which I had to share with my sister and my dog, Torch. The guards left me alone, so I sat at the desk and started reading. I looked and looked, but all I found was a picture with four teenage girls in it. One looked kind of like me. She had flame red hair, a killer tan and a cheeky look in her eyes. She had the same birthmark as me, in the same place. A girl with elfin ears, green hair tied back and a bow around her stood next to her. She had the same birthmark as Chryselium.  A girl with pale skin, a crown and blue hair stood next to her, she was smiling in the photo, but you could see worry in her eyes. You couldn’t see if she, or the other girl had birthmarks, because their hands were behind their backs. The last girl had long, curly snow white hair, and she also had a devilish look in her eyes. I also found a bit of writing in the book.
