"The Guardians" Part 2, By Nina Olivier, Gemma Penning and Andrea White


Oh my Gosh, Oh my Gosh, Oh my Gosh!...
“JULIET, OPEN THE DOOR, LET ME OUT, NOW!” I shouted to my sister.
“I CAN’T HEAR YOU!” she replied.
 Great, just great I thought to myself and Dad isn’t home, so he can’t let me out. I stared at the portal for a while, until I decided to step a little closer to investigate, until I slowly put my hand through. Just as I was about to pull away, something pulled me in.
“What is it?”
“Very fleshy,”
“Bet it would taste delicious,”
“Ya think it’s edible?”
“Very fleshy,”
“It’s very big though,”
“At least a week’s meal if it is edible,”
“Very fleshy,”
I opened my eyes to see these extremely tiny, chubby people with stony grey skin, swamp green eyed and dark green tufts of hair on top of their heads, and their clothes had tears and food stains all over. All of them were staring at me. I was in some forest and I was tied to a tree.
 “Oh, you’re awake,” the biggest one said with a huge smile on his face.
“W-W-Who are you?” I asked
“Me?” he said innocently, until a devilish smile spread across his face “I’m the last thing you’ll ever see,” he said raising a club
