The
first time I cooked for my family, it was a very interesting day. We were all
spring cleaning the house and I was getting ready to cook dinner that night.
Everyone was working and cleaning, I was freaking out! I kept worrying that I
was going to mess up. I told my older brother and sister that I was going to
make the best Ravioli you have ever eaten, but I was scared.
Inside
I kept saying that I was if I mess up? What if I burn the house down? What if
they hate it? But I had to do it, so I cooked. It took hard work. It took me
very long to make the batter and to shape all of them. I made twenty of them
and it took quite a long time. Each batch took 45 minutes to cook and I made
two batches.
Inside
each one I put the filling. My sister helped me with chicken but that ALL she
helped me with! I had to roll the dough and I had to cut them one by one and
put the chicken on to the first layer. Then I had to put on the second layer and
I was very tired. When they baked, I was
worried that they were going to burn but they actually came out great!
Then
I just made the carrot salad which had carrots, lettuce, mini tomatoes and
cucumber. It was just a simple salad. Now it was time to serve the food and my
heart started pumping even faster. We prayed together and then we started
eating. My first bite was amazing. I really enjoyed it. My family thought it
was a little crunchy but they liked it. We enjoyed it together and that’s all I
wanted and in the future, I will definitely do it again!
